Parayso 2 K-langows is a musical research where an approximation between two musical genres, Guitarrada and Mathrock, is performed. The guitarrada as a genre genuinely from Pará offers the possibility of rhythmic language present in several moments of the guitar arrangements of the project's songs. One of the aspects found in the guitarrada, and present in the project is the fact that this is a genre that doesn't have an exclusive rhythm in the drums, therefore, in the drum arrangements it is possible to notice the rhythm of lambada, merengue, carimbó and brega. From these elements, with songs arranged for drums and guitar, it was possible to seek an approximation of musical aspects present in the Mathrock genre. The references taken from this genre are the dilated musical forms. Therefore, the compositions have several themes, and within these themes we tried to experiment with tonal changes connected through modal borrowing. In other words, this research approximates the harmonic and formal aspects of Mathrock, with the rhythmic, melodic and idiomatic aspects of Guitarrada.

The creative purpose of this project is to explore the frontiers and possibilities of the guitarrada. From the perspective that the guitarrada is the poetic root of the work, it is possible to develop this genre as a starting point for instrumental experimentation in all its stylistic possibilities. The concept of this project proposes to present a path of musical experimentation through research and a laboratory approach to musical characters. In this sense it is possible to affirm that there are several possibilities of musical research that take the Guitarrada as a protagonist and starting point.
